Dr. D. Müller GmbH has developed a new high-temperature label material based on a white coated polyimide film. The adhesive system is a permanently adhering, age-resistant acrylic adhesive.

This new material is an ideal solution for labeling with bar codes on printed circuit board assemblies as well as in manufacturing. The material is solvent resistant and solder bath stable, there are no problems with fluxes and cleaners.

The good thermal stability up to 270 ° C is sufficient for the short period that is required in the reflow, infrared or hot-air soldering process.

For printing, all major thermal transfer printing systems can be used, such as Zebra, Intermec, Sato, Printronix, NEC, Datamax or Brady.

Transfer ribbons are recommended for printing with Sony TR6070.

The product is RoHS compliant.

The product is available in 0.025 mm and 0.05 mm in thickness.

PCB on the solder side before and after the soldering process
Barcode Printing

The company Sabic IP introduces a new material to their product range:

Lexan * 9030 AS

Lexan * 9030 AS is a transparent polycarbonate sheet with abrasion-resistant surfaces on both sides (similar to acrylic), and double-sided UV protection, with excellent weather protection.
With the improved abrasion resistance and UV protection, this product is an excellent candidate for both exterior and interior applications. Lexan 9030 AS is a thermoformed sheet. The UV protection is retained during processing.

Applications: Motorcycle visors, carports, skylights, machine guards and glazing.

Dr. D. Müller GmbH supplies CNC machined, cut or formed parts made of this material.

Campinas/Ahlhorn, 04.02.09 Dr. D. Müller Brazil in 2008 developed strip wound insulation tubes made of kraft paper, coated with a temperature-resistant adhesive, which can be used for electrical conduit tubing anchor shafts, as a protection of sensors during transportation and as protection for spark plugs, during transport and storage. The production in Brazil of the developed technology enables large quantities of the product to be delivered to the subsidiary firm of Dr. D. Müller GmbH. Specialised is one at the Brazilian location on the tube with a diameter from 2 to 50 mm of the product Embratube KP. The past year has already seen more than 13 million tubes shipped. Since 2009, under the brand "Embratube" tubes  are also available in Europe. Patterns can be requested via email.
