Materials for Deck Sliders
The question often arises as to which materials should be used for slide gates. It depends on four criteria:
- dielectric strength
- insulation class
- Thickness
- workability
The majority of deck slides are made from the following 4 materials:
- Polyester film (Mylar, Hostaphan), thickness: 0,25 and 0,35 mm
- DMD (Triflexil, Evitherm, Voltaflex, Flexiso), thickness: 0,30 and 0,36 mm
- NMN (Triflexil, Trivoltherm, Isonom, Flexiso), thickness: as well as 0,30 and 0,36 mm
- Nomex, thickness: 0,30 and 0,38 mm
