The two-day congress has developed into a leading industry platform and offers a variety of interesting lectures on the state of the art, marketing development and best practices in global electromobility. As a central information and business fair, the parallel exhibition elektro:mobilia connects trade visitors and customers with companies that present the innovative electromobility of tomorrow.
The congress will be opened by Dr. Kurt Demmer, Chief Economist at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, together with ZVEI President Friedhelm Loh and Garrelt Duin, Minister for Economic Affairs, Energy, Industry, SMEs and Crafts of North Rhine-Westphalia. The speakers include: Harald Kröger, Vice President e-Drive Daimler AG, Wolfgang Sczygiol, Managing Director Brose-SEW, Dr. Wolfgang Scholze, Head of Environmental Management Fraport AG and Dr. Rudolph Krebs, Managing Director of Volkswagen AG.
The elektro:mobilia trade exhibition provides an overview of the electromobile value chain. It opens up opportunities for networking on an industrial level for suppliers right through to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). The group of visitors to the specialist event also includes fleet and fleet managers from large companies as well as public service providers such as municipal utilities and transport companies, who will play a pioneering role in the use of electrically powered vehicles.
In addition to the manufacturers of electric and hybrid vehicles, elektro:mobilia also presents products and services from the areas of drives, components, storage, charging infrastructure and services.
At the initiative and invitation of the trade journal Firmenauto / ecoFleet in cooperation with Koelnmesse, a symposium specifically aimed at the “fleet manager” target group will be held for the first time at elektro:mobilia. On February 13, 2013, fleet experts will shed light on the topic of "Electromobility in commercial use".
The sensible use of electric vehicles in fleets is presented. The cost-benefit aspects of an electric fleet are analyzed and attractive leasing models are presented.
As part of the elektro: mobilia 2013, a test course will be carried out again. Right next to the trade fair, CO²-neutral vehicles can be tested here. The test course begins in Hall 8 and leads back to the company's lay-bys via the adjoining outdoor area. Commercial customers, dealers and industry representatives have the opportunity to get an overview of the market and to experience all the exhibits and their properties during a test drive.
