The tesa® ACXplus adhesive tape series made of acrylic foam surpasses conventional fastening methods and is characterized by its strong adhesive power. Due to the viscoelastic behavior, the acrylic adhesive system bonds different materials and the foam thickness adapts to rough and uneven surfaces. The special curing chemistry forms an outstanding temperature resistant structure that offers excellent resistance to temperature, weather, UV and chemical attack.
The ACXplus products are available in black, grey, white or ultra-transparent. They differ in the adhesive strength:
The 706x series is excellent for low surface energy substrates such as plastics and powder coated materials, while the 709x series adheres unpromoted to LSE substrates. The 707x family offers the highest long-term resistance to extreme temperatures, including excellent shock resistance down to -40C in cold environments.
Offering a lifetime of durability, these high-performance, double-sided acrylic foam tapes are ideal for mounting, assembly, and sealing in demanding applications commonly used in the construction, appliance, and transportation industries.
