The energy supply will change. Last but not least, the events in Japan last year and the German nuclear phase-out are helping to push the energy transition forward in the near future. The event will take place on March 18th and 19th, 2013 in Düsseldorf.

At the Energy Storage 2013 practical and economical storage technologies will be examined against the background of current developments in the energy sector.

China Energy Storage Alliance, India Energy Storage Alliance, California Energy Storage Alliance, IPVEA and Eurobeat support the storage event in Düsseldorf.

Berlin / Dusseldorf, December 3, 2012:For the conference fair Energy Storage - International Summit for the Storage of Renewable Energies, the international association China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA), India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), California Energy Storage Alliance (CESA), International Photovoltaic Equipment Association (IPA) as well the Association of European Automotive and Industrial Battery Manufacturers (Eurobeat) further strong partners are gained. The event will take place on March 18th and 19th, 2013 in Düsseldorf. At the Energy Storage 2013 practical and economical storage technologies will be examined against the background of current developments in the energy sector. Political framework conditions are also up for discussion, as are the questions of financing, cost-effectiveness and the integration of the most important storage technologies.

With the new cooperation, Energy Storage is expanding its international orientation. The organizers Messe Düsseldorf and Solarpraxis AG bring even more nations together in Düsseldorf to exchange ideas and establish business contacts. The conference participants benefit from the profound market knowledge of the international association representatives who, among other things, take part in the "Global Energy Storage Solutions" session. Some of the associations are also represented with their own booths, so that there is the opportunity for individual discussions.

More than 2012 conference guests from 350 countries attended the premiere of the Energy Storage Summit in spring 29. Other partners of the event next year are the EnergyAgency.NRW, the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW ), the Bavarian Center for Applied Energy Research eV (ZAE), the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Freiburg (ISE ) , the National Organization for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NOW), the Fraunhofer Energy Alliance, Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI .) ) and the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion.

The conference fair Energy Storage brings together experts from science, industry and politics. Keynote speakers include Federal Environment Minister Peter Altmaier and Jeremy Rifkin, President of the Economic Trends Foundation. The internationally recognized scientist Prof. Dr. Eicke R. Weber, spokesman for the Fraunhofer Energy Alliance and head of Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg, chairs the program committee and is supported by other renowned experts such as Dr. Klaus Bonhoff (NOW), Janice Lin (CESA), Dr. Jens Tübke (Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT).

As part of an accompanying exhibition, companies will present marketable applications and new concepts in the field of energy storage. The Production Technology Forum is also new. March 2013 takes place. Current production technologies as well as possible applications, challenges and economic issues of battery production are discussed here.
