Halogen-free Formex CN foils

the dr D. Mueller GmbH, a leading supplier of electrical insulation materials, thermally conductive products, gaskets and technical films, is pleased to announce that the halogen-free Formex CN product family has been added to its product range.
The proven polypropylene film FORMEX is now also available as a non-flammable alternative (UL 94 V-0) and does not require any halogenated additives. The foil is particularly suitable for electrical applications, eg casting applications.
Formex CN
The FORMEX CN product is flame-retardant according to UL 94 V-0, has good dielectric strength and mechanical stability, which means that it can be bent several times without any problems.
The film is resistant to aging and chemicals and has low moisture absorption (moisture absorption 0,24%). FORMEX CN is also very easy to punch.
FORMEX CN is available in white and black, similar to the standard FORMEX GK and BK models. So far, FORMEX CN has been manufactured in thicknesses of 250 µm and 430 µm.
FORMEX CN complies with all global standards such as UL, CSA, VDE, BSR, METI and the basic American, European and Asian environmental regulations such as RoHS, WEEE and REACH.

Formex stampings
Since the Dr. D. Müller GmbH is a UL-recognized reprocessor, the materials do not lose their UL certification during processing. the dr D. Mueller GmbH supplies the material as a stamped part, molded part, as a cut and cut in strips. Formex CN is also available in a self-adhesive version.
