Lexan polycarbonate sheeting

Lexan® Foil is made from the well-known branded plastic LEXAN® Polycarbonate (PC) is manufactured by Sabic and has many good properties.

The films are highly impact-resistant, heat-resistant up to approx. 130 °C and cold-resistant down to approx. -40 °C, dimensionally stable, insulating, transparent and have a wide variety of surfaces.

In addition, Lexan grades are available in black or milky white, flame retardant to UL94-V0, in accordance with FDA regulations, with a scratch-resistant coating.

Processing of Lexan

Lexan® Foil can be done using different methods print, cutting, punch, gluing, embossing, deep draw and bend.

Applications of Lexan films

Lexan films are used to make displays and nameplates for household, industrial, cell phone, automotive and many other applications where the print is protected by the film itself.

However, some types of Lexan are also used as light-diffusing film or in the insulation sector.

Lexan films are also used in the manufacture of insulating parts employed.

We also process other polycarbonate films, such as macrofol.
