LOPEC 2022 with good booking situation
The omens for LOPEC, which will take place from March 22nd to 24th, 2022 in the ICM – International Congress Center Munich on the grounds of the Munich Exhibition Centre, are very good: more than 130 exhibitors from 21 countries have already registered for this leading international trade fair and Congress for printed electronics registered. The top exhibitor countries besides Germany are France, the USA, the Netherlands and Italy.
LOPEC 2022 thus seamlessly follows on from the good result of the last face-to-face trade fair in 2019, as Armin Wittmann, LOPEC project manager, confirms: "The current level of registrations among exhibitors and the congress contributions shows that LOPEC 2022 picks up where it left off in 2019 . The industry wants to meet live and, like us, is excited about the event in March.”
Numerous key players will be present at LOPEC 2022
Not only the high international participation is pleasing, but also the large number of industry giants. In addition to Coatema, DuPont Teijin Films, Eastman Kodak, ELANTAS, Evonik Operations, Hamamatsu Photonics, Heidelberg Printed Electronics and others, Henkel, Heraeus, Kroenert, NovaCentrix, OES, Panasonic, Siemens, TNO/Holst and Varta Microbattery will be at LOPEC 2022 to be there.
Congress program and focus topics of LOPEC 2022
With around 200 conference contributions, LOPEC will of course be presenting itself as the world's most important communication platform for new products and applications as well as the latest research results this year. The modules of the congress include various formats such as plenary sessions, business conferences, technical conferences, scientific conferences, short courses and poster sessions. A special focus is on the key topics "Smart Living" and "Mobility". This year, for the first time, LOPEC is also using the sustainable properties of more flexible, organic and printed electronics with the bridging theme "Sustainability". Exhibition, lectures and the Innovation Showcase are dedicated to these topics.
Start-ups at LOPEC
Another highlight this year is the offer for start-ups, namely the start-up area: A joint stand in the middle of the trade fair, as well as the start-up forum, in which young entrepreneurs and start-ups can present their ideas, concepts and products in short presentations from the industry and investors.
Changed access, hygiene concept and entry requirements
An organizational novelty is the changed access to the trade fair and congress, which for the first time leads via the west entrance of the Munich trade fair center and from there directly to the ICM. This guided tour of participants ensures a smooth and safe admission control with verification of vaccination certificates, ID cards and full registration.
