PFOA – REACH (PTFE products)

the dr Dietrich Müller GmbH is aware that the use of certain substances in our products is of great importance for the health and well-being of our customers.

According to the current state of knowledge, the Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH does not contain any of the 205 substances listed by the ECHA as being of very high concern in accordance with Article 58, including PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) (from a content of >0,1%).

PFOA is mainly found in waterproof products such as professional carpet care fluids and household textiles. However, exposure to PFOA from consumer products is considered to be extremely low. In the RAC/SEAC report, based on the available data, no risks for non-occupationally exposed population groups caused by direct toxic effects of PFOA were identified.

According to the REACH regulations, we are considered a downstream user and are constantly in contact with our suppliers to ensure compliance with the REACH guidelines. No substances are released as a result of using our products according to recommended specifications.
