Bobbins for the electrical industry
Using the bobbins
Bobbins are used in the manufacture of inductive components such as transformers, chokes, coils and antennas. Bobbins are made from different plastics.
Material for bobbins
Injection molding is used as the manufacturing technique. A polyamide is often used as the material, and the materials PET and PBT are also used. Glass fiber is often used as a reinforcement material.
We can also supply bobbins made of PEEK or PPS.
Small quantities of bobbins
If smaller numbers of bobbins are required, the bobbins are assembled from stamped or milled individual parts made of Rigidiso.
3D printed bobbins
We also manufacture and design bobbins for 3D printing.
Accessories for bobbins
In addition to the actual coil body, we also supply accessories such as coil side insulation, bandage tape and dogbones. All items are also available in UL-approved versions.
