Polyester/polyester fleece adhesive tapes
Adhesive tapes made of polyester laminates are equipped with two different carrier layers and therefore have excellent properties.
Paper/polyester laminates provide strength and rigidity and can be torn by hand. Polyester/polyester fleece laminates offer high resistance to sharp-edged and point pressure, as well as a cushioning protective function.
Polyester laminates are mainly used in the following applications:
• Core insulation and interlayer insulation in transformer construction
• Insulation of soldering and welding points as well as supply lines when manufacturing winding goods
• Strain relief for supply lines in transformer and electric motor construction
• as a final bandage for transformers and chokes
• Masking of self-supporting coils as well as the beginning and end of the winding
