A well-known brand name for laminated paper is Pertinax.
Areas of application of Pertinax
Many electrical engineers name Pertinax as the material of choice when it comes to solving insulation tasks. In transformer construction, Pertinax is often used as an air gap. In electrical engineering, Pertinax is used as a material for brush holders. In model building, Pertinax is used to produce holding plates or similar. In mechanical engineering, Pertinax is used to manufacture adapter plates or base plates. Due to its properties, Pertinax is a versatile material that can be used in many different areas.

Pertinax is supplied in the form of panels that can be further processed into ready-to-install parts. Pertinax is also supplied in the form of tubes and rods.

the dr Dietrich Müller GmbH manufactures a wide variety of drawing parts from Pertinax. Pertinax is punched by us on eccentric presses. 3D parts are milled from Pertinax on our CNC machining centres. In the model construction sector, Pertinax is processed with normal woodworking machines.
Bonding of Pertinax
Pertinax can be glued with a variety of adhesives. We would be happy to advise you on the selection of the most suitable adhesive for your application.

Pertinax is produced in the standard color brown. However, we also produce black Pertinax sheets several times a year. Other colors can be achieved by painting.
