Cotton fabric reinforced panels
Production of cotton hard fabric
High-quality, mostly bleached cotton fabrics as well as phenolic and melamine resins are combined to form cotton fabric panels. Several layers of fabric are soaked, layered and pressed. Pressing takes place at approx. 150°C. The carrier material and the resin matrix allow heavy-duty mechanical and electrical applications.
Properties of cotton laminate
The material has good sliding properties and is resistant to solvents, weak bases, oils and fuels.
Areas of application of cotton hard fabric
Cotton fabrics are versatile construction materials that are used in lamellae for air motors, compressors and vacuum pumps, as rollers, gears, bearings, bearing shells and segment bearings, as stop bars and as slides in jig construction.
They are also used for non-tracking parts.
Cotton hard fabrics can be purchased from us in sheet form but also in milled versions. Companies can buy the material directly from us.
