Rigidiso transformer wood (resin pressed wood)
Rigidiso transformer wood or synthetic resin pressed wood is made from high-quality impregnated beech veneers with a veneer thickness of 0,5 to 1,5 mm. Depending on the requirements, the layer structure of the transformer wood (longitudinal and cross layers) can be selected with different compressions up to highly compressed quality with a density of up to 1,4 kg/dm3.
These wooden transformers can be used in the temperature range from +90 to -196°C without a drop in compressive strength. Transformer wood has a low specific weight.
Applications of transformer wood
The transformer wood is used in electrical applications (especially in transformer construction) in the low-voltage range and transformer wood has good emergency running properties.
Transformer wood is widely used in the manufacture of oil transformers (both distribution and power transformers). We deliver the following parts:

- pressure rings and shield rings
