Laminated materials such as Pertinax® RI 40000, Rigidiso® RI 40400 and Rigidiso® RI 40203 offer proven electrical insulation and mechanical stability. To further enhance their performance, special Protective coatings of the ELPEGUARD® range These coatings protect surfaces from moisture, chemical influences, harmful gases and electrical flashovers – especially in demanding industrial areas such as Automotive, aerospace, energy and communications technology.

Laminates at a glance

Pertinax® RI 40000 based on phenolic resin and paper and is suitable for electrical and mechanical applications in the low voltage range.
Rigidiso® RI 40400 is made of glass fiber reinforced polyester resin and offers increased tracking resistance and UL 94 V-0 flame retardancy.
Rigidiso® RI 40203 is made of epoxy resin and glass fabric and impresses with very high bending and impact strength while providing insulation up to 155 °C.
