Applications of 3M VHB tapes
The VHB material is suitable for a wide variety of surfaces (glass, metal, powder coatings and many plastics (also EP GC 203 and Pertinax)). It is used in a wide variety of applications in the automotive industry: It is used to attach decorative strips and emblems such as antennas.
3M VHB powder coating tape
Since powder coating is gaining ground in more and more industrial sectors, it is necessary to produce self-adhesive stamped parts for this sector as well. Up until now, however, joining powder-coated materials has been difficult and time-consuming. With the new 3M VHB adhesive tapes, which were specially developed for powder-coated surfaces, materials can be connected quickly and securely.
