Tecfilm® PISO TC 00820 – High-performance film made of polyimidesulfone (PISO)

Polyimidesulfone (PISO) is a high-performance engineering plastic from the polyimide group, which also contains a sulfone group. The Tecfilm® PISO TC 00820 is a special film that is particularly suitable for applications where high thermal, mechanical and chemical requirements must be met.

Available thicknesses of PISO TC 00820

The Tecfilm® PISO TC 00820 film is available from a thickness of 0,05 mm available. Other common thicknesses:
0,075 mm, 0,10 mm, 0,125 mm, 0,250 mm.

  Operating temperatures well above 200 °C make the film ideal for applications in hot environments or near heat sources.
• Excellent mechanical strength:
  PISO has high tensile strength and stiffness, making it ideal for demanding mechanical applications.

  Resistant to many aggressive chemicals such as acids, alkalis and solvents – ideal for use in the chemical industry.
• Good electrical insulation:
  Depending on thickness and processing, PISO offers good insulation properties with low water absorption.
