About Optically Clear Adhesive Tapes (OCA Tapes)

An OCA tape consists of highly specialized adhesives, specially formulated for clear applications, helping to produce high quality, reliable products. The clear adhesive is designed to eliminate common adhesive visual imperfections such as bubbles, dirt and gels. As the demand for slimmer and sleeker looking electronic devices increases, OCA tapes offer a number of advantages over traditional mounting methods. Available as transfer tape or double-coated tape, our clear adhesive tapes provide excellent adhesion to a variety of smooth or textured materials including glass, polycarbonate, PMMA and PET. Various thicknesses are available for different gap filling requirements.

The double-sided OCA (Optically Clear Adhesive) tapes are highly specialized, optically clear adhesive tapes that offer outstanding clarity and excellent adhesion to various types of transparent substrates. They process easily and are contaminant free, resulting in reduced blistering in laminations exposed to high temperatures and high humidity.

OCA single-sided tapes are highly specialized, optically clear, single-sided coated tapes that offer excellent transparency and excellent adhesion to various types of transparent substrates. They are easy to process and free from contaminants, resulting in reduced blistering in bonds exposed to high temperatures and humidity.

There are also optically clear transfer adhesive tapes based on the same adhesive system that can be used to make transparent films self-adhesive.
