Dr. Müller GmbH continues its leadership as a supplier of Ultem films

(Ahlhorn, 19.05.2010) - The company located in Ahlhorn, Dr. Müller GmbH, a supplier of Electrical Insulating Materials, Thermally Conductive Products, Gaskets, is still active as a distributor of high-performance Ultem films for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The Ultem films are created from Sabic Innovative Materials resin technology. Ultem Polyetherimide resin, PEI, is an amorphous high performance polymer, which is characterized by excellent thermal properties, good chemical resistance, and exceptional dimensional stability.

The combination of high temperature resistance, low moisture absorption, and excellent dielectric properties may make Ultem film an excellent candidate for a broad range of electronics applications.

The new Ultem film is an excellent base material for high temperature labeling and pressure-sensitive tape applications, as well as for printed circuit boards, electrical insulation applications and as a membrane film in speaker cones.

The Ultem films are compatible with heat sealing and thermal lamination. Often they can be metalized utilizing a number of traditional processes such as direct metal sputtering, the electroplating process or the direct lamination (fusion bond). Moreover, the film can taken the desired contour by utilizing traditional technologies for punching and cutting as well as various deep-drawing processes.

The base of customers of the company Dr. Müller for the distribution of Ultem films is present in the electrical and electronics industries, as well as in the printing industry and the automotive industry.
