Converting solutions for crystalline solar modules and thin film modules.

Further developments in solar technology, ensure a steady growth in this industry.  Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH provides converting solutions so that the solar factories can concentrate on core processes.

For the manufacturing processes as production resources and tools and as essential part of the modules, Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH provides a variety of solutions:

Polyimide Tape for fixing.

During the assembly processes of the solar cell, individual components are fixed and positioned within the sandwiched construction.

For this purpose, Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH supplies Polyimide blanks, so that the components in the vacuum and heat seal phases of the solar cell manufacturing do not slip.

Connecting strips and masking tapes for connections.

For the connection of individual solar cells, thin metal films are used. To protect them, our masking tapes are used.In this case polyester adhesive tapes in combination with an acrylate adhesive are characterised by high temperature and ageing resistance.

Flange seals and junction box gaskets.

From our wide product range of elastomers and foams, we supply flange seals and junction box gaskets.

Protective films for delivery

In order to protect the solar modules against damage during delivery, Dr. Dietrich Müller GmH supplies protective films.

Back sheet and EVA film cut blanks.

In order that the solar factories can concentrate on their core processes, Dr. Dietrich Müller

GmbH manufactures blanks of Back sheet and EVA materials. For the common module sizes and connection options, no tooling costs are incurred.

Labels for identification of the solar modules

Designed to refer and to identify the solar modules, labels are attached to the back of each module. Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH offers a wide variety of substrates, adhesives and dimensions for these applications.

Repair of solar modules

Solar panels can be damaged by various factors. In order to prevent a replacement, some damages can be repaired by special films. Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH offers solutions to repair modules.
