PEEK films

PEEK is a high-performance plastic, which is provided amorphous or partially crystalline as well as mineral-filled. The most essential property is that it can be deep drawn by having a high temperature resistance. The film is available in black or natural. The available thicknesses start at 0.006 mm up to 0.0750 mm.

These are more advantages:

  • Very high service temperature (according to the film thickness up to 260°C)
  • Low density of 1,32 kg/dm3
  • Very good chemical resistance
  • Excellent hydrolysis resistance
  • High stability and rigidity in combination with high elongation at breaks
  • Very good electrical properties at high radiation resistance
  • FDA qualified material (food safe)
  • Very high abrasion resistance
  • High dimensional stable
  • Low absorption
  • Halogen-free material
  • Flammability class, according to the film type, up to UL VTM-0
  • When burning, there are just small amounts of toxic gases
  • High pureness
  • Suitable for the semiconductor industry
  • Recyclable
  • Thermoplastic composition, because of that it can deep drawn, welded, laser-cut and metallized
  • Good thermally conduction of 0,25 W/mK unfilled; 0,35 – 0,66 W/mK filled
