Rigidiso-Trafo wood is made from high-quality impregnated beech veneers with a veneer thickness of 0.5 to 1.5 mm and is then processed further on our CNC machining centers.

Rigidiso Trafo wood (also KP wood or synthetic resin pressed wood) is made from high-quality impregnated beech veneers with a veneer thickness of 0.5 to 1.5 mm. Depending on the requirements, the layer structure of the transformer wood (lengthways and cross layers) with different densities up to highly compressed quality with a density of up to 1.4 kg / dm3 can be selected.

These transformer woods made of synthetic resin plywood can be used in the temperature range from +90 to -196 ° C without a drop in compressive strength. Transformer woods have a low specific weight.

Applications of transformer wood

The transformer wood is used in electrical applications (especially in transformer construction) in the low-voltage area and transformer wood has good emergency running properties.

Rigidiso transformer wood (also KP wood or synthetic resin pressed wood) is widely used in the manufacture of oil transformers (both distribution and power transformers). We deliver the following parts:
