Punching and die cutting
Our die cutting service allows us to produce consistent, uniform and repeatable contours quickly and efficiently in high volumes. Our specialized die cutting machines are designed to utilize the optimum input quantity for high volume production with low material waste.
Depending on the material and application, a variety of die-cutting methods have been developed for partial die-cutting, punching, partially coated and fully coated materials, and other production requirements (take-off tabs).
Rotary die cutting
Rotary die cutters use cylindrical dies mounted on a gear mechanism. The gears rotate to press the die against the product material, punching out the desired shape as the die rolls over the material surface. This process is highly efficient and precise, making it ideal for high-volume production.
Punching with steel rule cutting
In steel rule die cutting – also known as flatbed die cutting – a steel rule die mounted in a die plate is pressed against the substrate.
Once the shape is created, a rubber or foam ejector built into the die plate is used to eject the die-cut shape from the die plate. This type of die cutting is not as fast as rotary die cutting, but it is the most commonly used method for thicker materials.
Complete Cut tooling
A complete cut uses a die set to cut, press or emboss holes or shapes into a material. A die set for a punch press contains male and female dies on both sides of the workpiece that together punch, emboss, or press a hole or shape when joined together.
Thermal Punching Techniques
Thermal punching offers a precise and efficient punching method, but is only compatible with materials that can be thermally displaced, such as vinyl and some plastics. Heated blades, ultrasonics or lasers precisely cut materials into the desired shape.

Construction of the die cutting tools
In order to meet your and our flexibility and quality requirements, the tooling for the stamped parts is completely handled on the basis of the customer’s drawing with the help of our in-house toolmaking department for stamping technology – from design to tool production to series production.
With the help of powerful CAD technology and modern machines, we can quickly react to your wishes and ideas in toolmaking and realize them. In this way, problems can be identified in advance and economical tool planning can be guaranteed. The tools are thus efficiently designed and built according to the size of the series.
Mass stamped parts or stamped parts in small series
From one-off production to quantities of several million: Whether stamped parts as mass stamped parts or also stamped parts in small series: As a manufacturer of stamped parts, we always have the right stamping process.
Our smallest stamped part has an outer diameter of 2 mm and the largest precision stamped part has dimensions of 1,500 x 2,500 mm.
We punch materials in thicknesses from 0.01 mm to 12.5 mm.
We are also happy to punch provided material on a contract basis.
