Rigidiso-Trafoholz is produced from high quality impregnated beech veneers of 0.5 to 1.5 mm veneer thickness and is then further processed on our CNC machining centres.
Rigidiso-Trafoholz
Rigidiso-Trafoholz is produced from high quality impregnated beech veneers with a veneer thickness of 0.5 to 1.5 mm. Depending on the requirements, the layer structure of the transformer wood (longitudinal and cross layering) can be selected with different compressions up to a highly compressed quality with a density of up to 1.4 kg/dm3.
These transformer laminations can be used in the temperature range from +90 to -196°C without any loss of compressive strength. Transformer lumber has a low specific weight.
Applications of transformer lumber
The transformer wood is used in electrical applications (especially in transformer construction) in the low voltage range and transformer wood has good emergency running properties.
Transformer wood is widely used in the production of oil transformers (both distribution and power transformers). We supply the following parts:
- complete pressing beams
- Pressure rings and shield rings
- Coil press elements
- Pressure blocks
- Step blocks
- Round rods
- Threaded rods
- Nuts
We manufacture the following parts for other industrial sectors:
- pattern plates
- Tank farm blocks
- Gears
- Wheels and transport rollers
Based on customer drawings or samples, we manufacture finished parts on our CNC machining centres.
