Virtual Coil Show: Satisfied with the results

On January 21st, 2021 the 1st Virtual Coil Show statt. The Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH from Ahlhorn took part in today’s 1. Event of the virtual coil show fair.

The participants of the Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH from the areas of application technology, sales, online shop and production, had the opportunity to speak to a large number of customers – only virtually.

This has resulted in some interesting projects.

A special focus of the Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH was on the implemented projects on the subject of “digitization”.

The functions of the online shop, the online configurators and the Digital Fabricator solution were explained to customers in individual demonstrations.

The Digital Fabricator solution from Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH, is the first solution of this kind in the field of electrical insulation materials, seals, thermal conductivity products and technical foils. Customers can upload their drawings here, select the material and then order their part directly.

Furthermore, the Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH presented four new products and services at the fair:

Kleberlose Laminate

This year, the company from Ahlhorn is showing laminates that are manufactured without glue. Laminates made with glue are traditionally used in the manufacture of motors and generators. Glueless laminates have a number of technical advantages. So they offer improved thermal conductivity.

More polyimide films

As a further addition to the product range, the processor of foils offers further polyimide foils and laminates made of polyimide foils, which have improved properties.
In addition, the range of thicknesses could be expanded.

Manufacturing facilities for transformer manufacturers

In addition, the expanded manufacturing options for the manufacture of parts for air- and oil-cooled transformers were shown.

3D printing of bobbins

The fourth novelty was the 3D printing of bobbins shown for the manufacture of transformers. Here the company relies on the 3D printing of PEI and PEEK, which as high-temperature materials cover a wide range of applications.

The Dr. Dietrich Mueller GmbH expressly thanks the organizers of the fair for the special offer.
