ArpaxX mit UL 94–V0Müller Ahlhorn
The Dr. ArpaxX aramid paper developed by Dietrich Müller GmbH corresponds to the UL 94-V0 standard, which was originally developed in the USA for testing plastics for electrical appliances.
In the meantime, however, it has established itself worldwide for the classification of the flame retardancy and fire safety of plastics.
V0 means self-extinguishing within 10 seconds at the latest; burning droplets are not permitted. Afterglow is permitted for a maximum of 30 seconds.
The test specimen is positioned vertically and ignited at the lower end.
The ArpaxX aramid paper from Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH is already listed from a thickness of 0.05 mm V0, while other aramid papers only show this performance at thicker thicknesses.
Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH delivers Laminate, Prepregs, adhesive tapes, and stamped and molded parts made from them.
