Different thermal pastes of the company Dr. Dietrich Müller GmbH are listed in the IMDS database. IMDS is the international material data system of the automotive industry. Currently, almost all automobile manufacturers are represented in this system and use the IMDS to transmit material data.

The IMDS (International Material Data System) is an archiving and administration system of the automotive industry, on the basis of which a material data sheet is created, in which all materials used and proportionate material components
and all the necessary data for the subsequent recycling of the vehicle part must be collected.

The IMDS was jointly developed by the companies Audi, BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, Opel, Porsche, Volkswagen and Volvo. Other automobile manufacturers have since joined this system.
