Construction of VPV/DMD laminates
VPV/DMD laminates are flexible 3-layer insulation made of polyester film (Mylar, Hostaphan, etc.) that are coated on both sides with impregnated polyester fleece.
Properties of the VPV/DMD laminates
DMD laminates have high dielectric strength and high mechanical stability.
Processing of the VPV/DMD laminates
The smoothness of the material means that it can be machined excellently.

When it comes to DMD, we are the right contact. You can buy DMD in rolls, sheets or in machined parts from us.
We carry DMD in different strengths. We have DMD plates up to a thickness of 1,4 mm in stock. We also have rolled goods from a thickness of 0,09 mm in stock.
Adhesive tapes made of DMD
DMD is also supplied in self-adhesive form, for example as adhesive tape. These can be equipped with different adhesive systems.
DMD in the form of stamped parts
DMD is processed in large quantities in the manufacturing process of stamping into insulating parts, seals and washers.
Laser processing of DMD
Laser processing of DMD can be done with either a 10,6 µm or a 9,3 µm CO2 laser.
Laser cutting DMD with a CO2 laser produces a clean cut with minimal discoloration.
Laser marking of insulation paper with a CO2 laser produces an indelible surface mark with no depth that can be either lighter or darker depending on the material being processed.
Laser engraving of DMD brings out both depth and contrast depending on the material being processed and is limited to material thickness.

DMD sampling
You can get small sections of DMD from us free of charge for samples. We carry out larger DMD samples for a fee, and then credit this DMD to you later if you buy DMD parts from us.
DMD data sheets
You can download data sheets for the material DMD by clicking on the PDF symbols. Here you can find the characteristics of the material, such as the temperature resistance or the chemical resistance as well as the dielectric strength.
